Job summary

Acacia Network in Bronx, NY seeks an Operations Coordinator to oversee facility services, coordinate maintenance with contractors, and ensure safe, compliant building operations across our sites.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree in social/human sciences or psychology, and at least two years of relevant experience working with homeless or low-income populations, plus a current F-80 certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer, supervise and coordinate facility services for the corporation.

• Plan work schedules and maintenance with contractors as necessary.
• Schedule all work activity for staff and projects.
• Schedule routine/preventative maintenance, cleaning, inspections of facilities and systems.
• Maintain inventory control for equipment and supplies.
• Conduct performance reviews for Facilities/Maintenance staff.

Operations Coordinator

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assume responsibility for administering, supervising and coordinating the facility services of the corporation
• Prepare all documents for requests for quotations as necessary
• Assists in the planning, coordination and monitoring of construction and renovation
• Plan work schedules and maintenance requirements with contractors as necessary
• Plan and schedule all work activity, projects and tasks for all staff
• Schedule routine and preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection of grounds, buildings, structures, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, HVAC equipment and other facility components
• Maintain inventory control system for equipment and supplies
• Conduct performance reviews and associated evaluations of all Facilities/Maintenance Department staff

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED required. Associate Degree in Social/Human Sciences, Psychology
• Two years of experience working with the homeless and/or low and mixed-income population in addition to experience in child welfare, family work, and substance abuse
• Understanding of low-income and homeless individuals and their specific needs
• Current F-80 certification required
