Job summary

Subsea Environmental Services is seeking an Operations Coordinator for a full-time, in-person role at the Midtown Manhattan office. You will assist the Operations team with planning and executing cable recovery and subsea operations, while supporting daily administrative tasks and reporting.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and meticulous record-keeping.

About Subsea Environmental Services

Founded in 2012 and commencing marine operations in 2014, Subsea Environmental Services has become a global leader in the recovery and recycling of out-of-service submarine cables. With over a decade of operational excellence, we deliver sustainable solutions that balance environmental responsibility with commercial viability.


Subsea operates globally and is led by a team with over 100 years of combined experience in the marine and telecom industries. To date, we have successfully recovered over 75,000 km of retired cable from the ocean floor and recycled more than 120,000 metric tons of cable material.



About the Role

Subsea is seeking to add an Operations Coordinator to provide support to the Operations team. This is a full-time, in-person role at the Subsea office in midtown Manhattan.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in the planning and execution of cable recovery and subsea operations

  • Support project managers with day-to-day project administration

  • Maintain project files and operational documentation

  • Assist with preparation of daily, weekly, and post-project reports

  • Enter and maintain accurate operational data across internal systems

  • Handle administrative tasks and paperwork

  • Organize and file documentation

  • Bachelor’s degree

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
