Job description

Our client, a leading crypto trading and investment firm, is seeking an Operations Coordinator, Employee & Workplace Experience (EWX). You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day employee experience operations. This position focuses on managing service desk requests, coordinating hotel rooming lists, and assisting employees with event-related changes. Your efforts will contribute to providing a first-class experience for employees, supporting seamless program operations, and enhancing overall employee satisfaction.

Please note this is a 9-month, remote contract role. Pay will be $35/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all Experience and Workplace (EWX) inquiries through JIRA. Track, respond to, and escalate tickets as necessary.
  • Assist with on-site and off-site event planning, logistics, and experience improvements, ensuring smooth execution and high employee satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee hotel reservations, changes, and updates.
  • Manage hotel room block availability, liaise with hotels for accurate rooming lists, confirmations, and check-in processes.
  • Offer high-touch assistance for employees navigating RSVP and lodging processes, addressing concerns with clear and empathetic communication.
  • Maintain and update standard responses and resources for People Operations, ensuring consistency in addressing lodging and event-related questions.

Qualifications

  • Background in operational support, event logistics, hotel room block management, or travel coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tasks and last-minute changes with attention to detail and adherence to company policies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity, customer service, and empathy.
  • Experience using JIRA, Café, Navan, Slack, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
