Responsible for organizing and synchronizing all job related activities between the field staff, dispatch, operations, laboratory and customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicating with the dispatcher and operations/branch manager to ensure work requirements are met with adequately qualified employees.
- Relaying the customer’s requests to the field and laboratory employees.
- Ensuring necessary updates and final communications are distributed in accordance with customer requirements and AmSpec policy.
- Preparing and distributing all reports including final wires and invoices.
- Informing the Operations Manager/Supervisor of any problems that could potentially affect customers.
- Being available to meet with customers and representing the company at industry functions that could result in improved levels of work from the customer.
- Assisting the Operations Manager/Supervisor with ensuring the adherence of company policy by the field staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in the Petroleum, Petrochemical, and Chemical industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred.
Working Conditions
Office environment, field attendance likely, possible attendance at industry events and social functions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to wear PPE including respirator, ability to work for extended periods of time both during and outside normal business hours, ability to multi-task and work under high levels of stress.
