Job summary

You will drive cost-savings initiatives, manage journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for consolidated reporting. The role demands close collaboration with operations leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4–7 years in accounting with inventory or cost focus.
• US GAAP ASC 330 and ASC 705-20 experience.
• Experience owning an operating expense base and driving cost savings.
• Advanced Excel with large data sets (pivot, lookups, Power Query).
• Onsite in Powder Springs, GA three days/week; occasional travel.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own perpetual-to-general-ledger inventory reconciliation and valuation.
• Lead warehouse operating cost ownership and expense reviews.
• Own inventory and operations-related journal entries and SOX controls.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to resolve costing issues.
• Support month-end close and external reporting with schedules.
