Job summary

The role collaborates with Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies and strengthen cost-control processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years in inventory or cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP knowledge for inventory valuation.
• Experience with standard costing and variances.
• Proficient in ERP and Excel for data analysis.
• Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records and costing data.
• Support standard costing processes, PPV, and variance analysis.
• Investigate significant cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory reserves and appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, and Accounting on cost-control initiatives.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
