Job summary

Walmart in Dallas, TX is seeking a store leader to initiate and oversee community outreach initiatives while guiding associates and managers to embody the Open Door Policy and Walmart values in daily operations.

You will supervise hourly staff, analyze reports, support the store manager in driving sales and profitability, ensure safety and asset protection, and continually improve the customer experience through leadership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Initiates, directs and participates in community outreach programs by engaging associates and managers.
• Models exceptional customer service and supports store customer service initiatives.
• Assists store manager in driving financial performance and controlling expenses to meet sales goals.
• Develops plans to implement company programs and ensure compliance with policies and integrity.
