Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking an Operations Co-op to join our Richmond, CA team. This role targets engineering students seeking hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, focusing on process operations, safety, quality systems, and technical documentation.

You will work with seasoned professionals across Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to support continuous improvement projects, audits, and site safety programs during the Fall 2026 term.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor's in Engineering.
• GPA 2.5/4.0 minimum.
• Eligible for Fall 2026 co-op term.

Responsibilities

• Support ISO 9001 and RC 14001 systems.
• Assist CAPA tracking and closure.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS.
• Maintain documents in DMS/SharePoint.
• Assist with process troubleshooting and data collection.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Support audits and site safety programs.
• Assist with investigations and small engineering projects.
