Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Coordinator, Operations to support distribution center operations by handling general office tasks, responding to inquiries, and assisting warehouse and transportation leadership as needed.

This role relocates to Plainfield, IL by mid 2027 and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Base pay ranges from $19 to $30 per hour with overtime eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of clerical experience.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
• Strong math, analytical and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Problem solving and critical thinking for limited-scope problems.
• Ability to cross-functionally collaborate and adapt to varying schedules.
• Strong teamwork skills to support others in the department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process routine forms, reports, and documents for warehouse and transportation.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.
• Verify information to ensure market compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Collect and input data on operations metrics to track performance.
• Create and maintain basic charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and databases for managers.
• Monitor office supplies inventory and initiate purchase orders.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
