Summary

The Operations Associate is responsible for accurate and timely processing of inventory and stock transactions to support store sales goals. This role manages replenishment, incoming and outgoing shipments, cycle counts, and day-to-day stockroom organization while communicating stock issues to management. The position supports customer service and store productivity through meticulous inventory handling and collaboration with the store team.

Responsibilities

• Process all inventory and stock transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Receive, verify, and handle incoming and outgoing shipments via RPro/FedEx/UPS within 24 hours
• Perform weekly cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and submit adjustments
• Monitor consignment and negative reports and follow up as needed
• Inspect stock for defects and report damages to management
• Maintain merchandise presentation on the sales floor per company standards and assist with replenishment
• Report and follow up on unresolved IT or equipment service tickets with corporate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and follow opening/closing procedures
• Process online orders and support daily order monitoring
• Help train and develop newly acquired staff on stockroom procedures

Requirements

• Previous retail customer service experience in the luxury market
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Preferred: 3+ years in a high-volume stock or operations role for a fashion retailer
• Ability to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and repetitively lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders regularly and possess good visual acuity (color, depth perception, close and distance vision)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
