Job summary

Brobston Group LLC in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking an Operations Associate to manage inbound and outbound inventory and support store sales goals. This role processes inventory transactions, conducts cycle counts, handles shipments, and ensures the stockroom and sales floor are merchandised to company standards.

You will identify stock discrepancies and coordinate with management and corporate teams to resolve issues, while assisting in training new staff and supporting opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury retail customer service.
• Able to stand and lift up to 70 lbs and be on feet for long periods.
• 3+ years in a high-volume stock or operations role for fashion retailer.

Responsibilities

• Process all inventory and stock transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including receiving, transfers, and adjustments
• Complete weekly cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and submit adjustments
• Receive, verify, and process incoming and outgoing shipments via store systems and carriers within 24 hours
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor per standards
• Monitor consignment and negative reports; process online orders and replenishment
• Report and follow up on IT and equipment service tickets and communicate stock level issues to management
• Support store opening and closing procedures and assist in training new staff

• Preferred: 3+ years in a high-volume stock or operations role for a fashion retailer
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and experience with retail inventory systems
