Job summary

Atomic is seeking an Operations Associate focused on self-clearing and corporate actions. You will handle day-to-day processing of corporate actions and support clearance and settlement workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and compliance to refine operational controls, data quality, and settlement processes as Atomic scales its platform.

Qualifications

• Active Series 24 license required.
• Direct experience processing corporate actions (splits, distributions, mergers, tender/exchange offers) at a broker-dealer or clearing firm.
• Experience with clearance and settlement operations in self-clearing or correspondent clearing environments.
• Expertise with NSCC/DTC processes, position reconciliation, and asset servicing.
• Strong understanding of double-entry booking methodology across custody, trade, and cash ledgers.

Once here, you will

Join Atomic's operations team supporting self-clearing infrastructure and corporate actions processing. You'll be hands-on with the day-to-day work of processing corporate actions (spinoffs, distributions, mergers, tender/exchange offers, and mandatory/voluntary reorganizations), supporting clearance and settlement activity, and helping resolve data quality and booking issues as they arise. As Atomic scales its self-clearing capabilities, you'll work closely with engineering, product, and compliance to help build out the operational processes and controls that keep clearing and corporate actions running accurately and on time.

What we are looking for

We're looking for someone hands-on who can dig into the mechanics of corporate actions and clearance/settlement work directly, not just review it after the fact. Some things that may make you a great fit:

• Active Series 24 (General Securities Principal) license
• Direct experience processing corporate actions (splits, spinoffs, distributions, mergers, tender/exchange offers) at a broker-dealer or clearing firm
• Experience with clearance and settlement operations in a self-clearing or correspondent clearing environment
• Expertise with NSCC/DTC processes, position reconciliation, and asset servicing
• Strong understanding of double-entry booking methodology and reconciliation across custody, trade, and cash ledgers
• Margin financing, trading, or underwriting operations experience a bonus
