Qualifications

About the Role

As Passport’s logistics grow increasingly complex, the Daily Operations team is integral in ensuring successful delivery and overseeing all the moving pieces – from pickups at our 3PL partners to final mile delivery and everything in between.

In this role, you will assist in overseeing the day to day operations of one of Passport’s processing centers; ensuring shipments are received, processed, sorted, and dispatched quickly and accurately to provide the best service possible to our customers. You will help to lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, as well as assist in the receiving of inbound loads and proper dispatching of outbound shipments.


In this position, you will…
  • Support the processing center team by facilitating daily operations, providing direction, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep daily operations on track by supporting the processing center team with organization, coordination, and follow-through.
  • Assist the warehouse manager in overseeing the receiving, sorting, and shipping of orders, ensuring accurate and timely order processing.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of shipments to delivery partners, ensuring shipments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Promote a positive team environment by encouraging open communication and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational or technical problems to prevent delays or service disruptions.
  • Ensure the team follows all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the team’s adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Step in as a backup lead when needed—offering clear direction and support during manager absences or vacations.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment environment (2-3 years preferred).
  • Experience in a supervisory or team lead role is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), dispatch software, and basic office software (MS Office).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Conversational Spanish is a plus!
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically under pressure.
