Job Description: Operations Associates at Gopuff

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play a vital role in our company, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and collaborating with partner drivers.

Customers turn to Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, in all weather conditions. We aim to build a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. Bonus if you like snacks!

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for customer dispatch
• Receive, unpack pallets from vendors, ensure inventory matches purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and facility
• Manage waste and spoilage, adhering to FIFO practices
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations
• Walk several flights of stairs as needed
• Prepare quality beverages and food items per recipes and standards
• Ensure accuracy in food and beverage packaging for delivery
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Receive and verify orders/invoices, resolving discrepancies
• Maintain kitchen organization and standards, managing waste and spoilage
• Prepare, package, and stage/handoff orders

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred, not required)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including peak hours
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays

Pay:

• Pay varies by location based on market pricing and labor index
• Baltimore, MD Salary Range: $15.25/hour
• Starting pay depends on skills, experience, location, and market conditions
