Gopuff Operations Associate Job Description

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs are vital to Gopuff's success, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and collaborating with partner drivers.

Customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks!

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for customer dispatch
• Receive, unpack pallets from vendors, ensure inventory matches purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Clean and organize the sales floor and facility
• Manage waste and spoilage following FIFO practices
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations during shifts
• Walk several flights of stairs as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays

Pay:

• Pay varies based on location and market conditions. For U.S. locations, the Baltimore, MD salary range is $15.25/hour.
