Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is looking for an Operations Associate at Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls, NJ. This position is part of a minimum one-year Manager in Training program focusing on functional and leadership training across various departments. Successful candidates will need to meet learning objectives and exhibit flexibility in dynamic business assignments.

The role includes several responsibilities, such as planning learning objectives, executing structured learning tasks, and providing leadership within different business lines. A broad skill set and willingness to adapt are essential for success in this program.

Qualifications

• Must complete regulatory online Health Stream courses.
• Experience with seniors, health care, or service delivery is desirable.

Location: Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as the Operations Associate (OA) within our Continuing Care Retirement Community! This role is a minimum one-year individualized Manager in Training program of functional and leadership training, including structured learning, special projects, multi-level feedback, and professional assessment. The OA Program will include temporary placements throughout the many departments within this Erickson Senior Living community. This individual will be responsible for meeting learning objectives, obtaining leadership experiences, completing assignments, and bringing business value to each business-line rotation. Assignments are subject to change based on the emerging needs of the business. Flexibility throughout the program is imperative.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience from $55,000-$58,000 annually, plus annual bonus opportunity up to 8%.

How You Will Make An Impact

• With guidance from the Human Resources Director/Manager, plan and execute all established learning objectives for each business-line rotation.
• Complete all assigned structured learning, including on-the-job, follow-up
• Assume effective program and project leadership roles in each business rotation.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to the business activities during each rotation.
• With the OA Program Coordinator and HR Director/Manager, create an individual career path to support professional growth within the organization after completion of the program.
• Attend quarterly peer team calls.

What You Will Need

• Previous work experience, or academic leadership experience required. Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• For Continuing Care rotation within our regulated healthcare facility, must complete regulatory online Health Stream courses and attend the orientation for understanding the Person-Centered Approach to care.
• Experience with seniors, health care, and/or service delivery.
• Breadth of leadership activities while in school with a record of individual and team successes.
• Willingness to be flexible with assignments.
• Willing to travel.
• Willingness to relocate.
