Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling practices
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays, and manage seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage and merchandise displays
• Handle damaged merchandise daily
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management
• Maintain checkout area for impulse sales and ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
