Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store-related communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed.
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist with merchandise management, including damaged goods processing.
• Help create weekly schedules and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain the checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
