Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
4. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise, following company policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Assist in managing cashiering activities and sales floor effectiveness.
12. Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
13. Manage store supplies and expenses.
14. Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize sales.
15. Ensure store displays and stock are replenished daily.
16. Assist with creating weekly schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
