Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting the hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Performing all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Helping to protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keeping all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not on site, taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage daily.
• Maintaining sales effectiveness on the sales floor and managing cashiering activities following cash handling practices.
• Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinating signage and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refilling store-front displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
