Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Performing all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, taking supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on a daily basis.
• Managing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Managing promotional fixtures, displays, and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising to enhance store presentation.
• Processing damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout area and store-front displays to maximize impulse sales.
• Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
