Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates
• Implement corporate directives related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and seasonal areas
• Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling guidelines
• Coordinate signage and displays for promotional effectiveness
• Process damaged merchandise daily
• Assist in creating weekly schedules
• Help manage store supplies and control expenses
• Maintain checkout area and store displays to maximize impulse sales
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
