Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including store cash, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Overseeing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Managing store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and merchandise replenishment.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling, supplies management, and expense control.
• Maintaining checkout area merchandising to maximize sales.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
