Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Helping to protect and secure store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas to company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
7. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, following policies.
10. Supporting staffing, sales effectiveness, cash handling, merchandising, and store supplies management.
11. Ensuring store displays and seasonal areas are well-maintained and effective.
12. Participating in schedule creation and expense control.
13. Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize impulse sales.
14. Refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
