Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom organization.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise and managing damaged merchandise daily.
• Supporting staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on the sales floor.
• Managing cashiering activities to ensure proper cash handling practices.
• Overseeing promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinating signage and merchandising efforts.
• Assisting in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Preferably prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
