Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities, such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities in line with cash handling practices.
• Optimize promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Assist with merchandising, maintaining checkout areas, and replenishing coolers and displays daily.
• Help create weekly schedules.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
