Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Help manage cashiering activities, ensuring proper cash handling practices.
• Support promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinate signage and store displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to boost impulse sales.
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
