Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Ensure all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
11. Assist in managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Support promotional displays and seasonal sales areas.
13. Coordinate signage in the store.
14. Manage store supplies and expense control.
15. Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize impulse sales.
16. Ensure coolers and displays are refilled daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
