Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery and cleanliness.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Maintain promotional displays and manage seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and ensure store supplies and expenses are controlled.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining the checkout area to maximize sales.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
