Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on the sales floor
• Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling practices
• Maintain attractive store displays and signage
• Manage seasonal areas and promotional fixtures
• Assist with store supplies, expense control, and merchandising efforts
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work well in a high-energy team environment
