Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities adhering to cash handling practices.
• Manage promotional displays, seasonal areas, and signage.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area for maximum impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and store-front displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
