Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following all policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling guidelines.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage seasonal areas and merchandise displays.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize sales and ensure product availability.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
