Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support store functions and daily activities, including opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, have direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives, including pull and hold/destroy, task compliance, and key survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate store signage and manage seasonal displays and fixtures.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area merchandising to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
