Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, up to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receiving and returning DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on the sales floor daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure proper cash handling practices.
• Coordinate store signage, displays, and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and ensure store displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
