Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies
• Help ensure proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring proper cash handling practices
• Coordinate store signage and displays for promotional effectiveness
• Maintain store supplies and control expenses
• Assist with merchandising, especially in seasonal areas
• Refill coolers and displays daily

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
