Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, in company-standard condition.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communicate store activities as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities following cash handling guidelines.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal store areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise displays.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and replenish store displays regularly.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
