Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a 1st shift Operations Assistant in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves case picking and packing up to 50 lbs, standing 8–10 hours daily, and flexibility to other areas. Shift: 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday with mandatory OT.

Compensation: $18.95 per hour. Ideal candidates will have Manhattan WMS experience and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include medical/dental/vision from day 30, PTO, 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months warehousing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure distribution of timely and accurate information and receiving forms to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain and charge hand-held terminals, update and download in a timely manner (RF environment).
• Ensure all receiving data entry is completed on time to allow picking documentation to be prepared.
• Prepare and sort all picking documentation as per operating procedure.
• Prepare all shipping documents and ensure changes at out-loading are indicated on drivers’ packing lists.
• Ensure all stock is updated and on time.
• Dispatch shipments to carriers/drop lot.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring that shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time. Works with warehouse personnel to ensure proper receipt, stocking and shipment of product. Assist with inventory control.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing experience, preferred
