Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a 6-month contract-to-possible-extension, onsite in Bohemia, NY 11716. The role requires reading blueprints and assembling sub-assemblies with various hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of assembly experience, with ability to interpret blueprints. Shift is 1st, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Mechanical Assembler Position type: Full-time, Contract to possible extension Duration: 6 months Location: Bohemia, NY 11716- Onsite Shift: 1st - M-F, 7a-3:30p

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will:

• Build sub-assemblies and final products using raw materials by interpreting blueprints and engineered blueprints.
• Proficiently operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools to secure parts and maintain equipment daily.
• Conduct visual checks/quality inspection and use precision instruments to log and flag defects.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of a high school diploma /(GED)
• 1-3 years prior assembly experience (able to use small tools i.e. torque wrench)
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics is a plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $20.00/hr to $23.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
