Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors West Monroe is seeking an Operations and Implementation Specialist to optimize inventory and asset management. You will support logistics, material management, shipping/receiving, and Vendor Managed Inventory while ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries.

Reporting to the Profit Center Manager, you will work in a warehouse environment with occasional outdoor conditions and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory and asset management is required.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Good computer skills and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Logistics support: deliver materials to customers.
• Material management: stock shelves, organize warehouse, pull/stage materials.
• Shipping and receiving: unload and load LTL, Hotshot, UPS, FedEx.
• Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI): oversee VMI processes to meet demand.

Summary:

CED West Monroe is committed to optimizing its inventory and asset management processes. We are seeking a detail oriented and driven individual to join the team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational aspects of our business including:

• Logistics
• Material Management
• Shipping and Receiving
• Vendor Managed Inventory

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in inventory and asset management
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional education in inventory management or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.
• May require extended periods of standing.
• Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
• This position also operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.
• Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets

• Vendor Managed Inventory: Oversee and Assist in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)processes, ensuring proper levels of inventory to meet demand
