WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure data integrity between internal systems and physical stock. This role collaborates across departments to identify issues and deliver proactive solutions that support customers.

The position requires 1 year of distribution experience is preferred; no degree is required. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, plus forklift operation, are beneficial for daily duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Run reports to identify inventory issues, investigate, and resolve.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and ensure data accuracy.
• Make inventory adjustments using the ERP system.
• Operate forklift to replenish pick bins with stock.
• Identify damaged inventory and process accordingly.
• Ensure items are returned to the correct bin location.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment to maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare wrap/kit lists for repack items and move products.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace; report hazards.
• Collaborate with teammates and leadership to hit daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Follow company and warehouse policies and adapt to additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Run various reports that identify potential systematic issues with inventory, investigate appropriately and resolve any found problems
• Search for inaccuracies and errors, such as misplaced stock, while conducting and processing scheduled weekly cycle counts
• Complete inventory adjustments based off differences in physical counts and research using the company’s ERP system
• Use forklift equipment to replenish pick bins with overstock product
• Identify and process damaged inventory throughout the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Ensure that misplaced or mistakenly picked items are returned to the correct bin location
• Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to fulfill job duties to ensure a safe work environment
• Pick wrap/kit list for repack items and transport completed product throughout the warehouse for put-away
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies?
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required?
