Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. is offering an 11-week paid Summer Internship (May 17 – July 30) for undergraduate students to support the Source Operations team at on-site offices in Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA.

Interns gain hands-on experience in business operations, reporting, and process improvement under mentorship. Position includes 2 paid holidays and 2 paid time off days, plus housing options in Fairfield.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities across the Source Operations team.
• Assist with data entry, record maintenance, document management, process execution, and reporting activities.
• Provide backup support for operational workflows and help maintain continuity of service.
• Partner with team members across Operations, Accounting, and other departments to complete shared responsibilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational efficiency and support scalable business practices.
• Use Microsoft 365 applications, Compass, Workday, and potentially Power BI based on project needs and skill level.
• Explore practical uses of Cambridge-approved AI tools, agents, and workflow automations to improve business processes.
