Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research is offering a Financial Operations Analyst Intern position, a paid 11-week summer program from May 17 to July 30. The role supports the Service Experience team, performing data analysis, process mapping, and cross-team collaboration to improve financial professional and client service experiences.

Locations include Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA with housing options for Fairfield, IA.

Qualifications

Currently an undergraduate student pursuing Finance, Business, Data Analytics or related field.
Experience with data analysis and process mapping.
Able to examine information, identify patterns or pain points, and translate findings into practical solutions.
Strong problem-solving, organization, communication and collaboration skills.
Comfort with Excel and an interest in learning business systems and analytics tools.
Initiative and confidence to propose solutions within a collaborative project environment.

Responsibilities

Complete data analysis projects focusing on pain points in financial professional and client service experiences.
Review and map current process flows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Propose and, where appropriate, implement solutions that streamline processes and improve data usage.
Work within a collaborative project structure and own assigned analyses while partnering with colleagues.
Use data from NetX, Wealthscape, Compass, TalkDesk, SharePoint, Excel, and Copilot to develop insights.
Utilize Power BI or other analytics tools to analyze relevant data sets.
