Job summary

SEPTA in Philadelphia seeks an Operations Analyst I (5204) - Capital Program Support. The role performs entry-level administrative, data analysis and financial assignments within the Operations Division and collaborates with other analysts, possibly guiding co-ops and interns.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, or related field; proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Power BI; strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, finance, or related field.
• Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and basic understanding of data visualization tools including but not limited to Power BI.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and monitors weekly and monthly reports, both financial and statistical.
• Collaborates with team members to collect and analyze data.
• Visualizes data with charts, graphs, infographics, and/or basic dashboards.
• Establishes basic key-performance indicators to measure the effectives of business decisions and service delivery.
• Processes information in conjunction with other Operations analysts.
• Drafts presentations for senior staff members.
• Identifies and recommends process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Contributes to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates project activities and communicates updates to stakeholders.
• Assists in the development and delivery of training programs for staff members.
• Performs other duties as required.
