CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to support the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive for the Carrier front office. The role requires senior executive-level administrative expertise, operational planning, and discreet handling of sensitive information.

The candidate will manage the Admiral's calendar, coordinate meetings, prepare briefing materials, and oversee travel for domestic and international engagements, including DTS processing where required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years supporting Flag Officers/Senior Executives.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Extensive and heavy proactive calendar management experience.
  • Military background/retired.

CACI is currently seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to provide essential support to the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive (DPAE) (CVN) Aircraft Carriers support a 2-star Admiral (Rear Admiral Upper Half) The candidate requires a combination of senior executive-level administrative expertise, operational planning, communication skills, and sound judgement.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Admiral and (Executive Director’s) daily operations, priorities, and executive calendar.
  • Maintains a high standard of dependability by arriving on time, prepared, and ready to support executive operations.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex executive calendars, prioritizing appointments, and resolving calendar conflicts for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and executive-level events.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote Teams) and SharePoint.
  • Preparing executive correspondence, briefing materials, talking points, and decision packages.
  • Review documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance with Navy correspondence standards.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, country clearances, passports, visas (when required), travel claims.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Admiral’s office, senior military leaders, SES personnel, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Maintains discretion while handling sensitive or classified information.
  • Extensive knowledge of Department of the Navy (DoN) and Department of War (DoW) administrative procedures.
  • Expertise in Navy correspondence manuals and executive protocols.
  • Strong understanding of military customs, courtesies, and flag officer protocol.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple high-visibility tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
  • Experience working within Navy, DoW, or other federal organizations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising discretion and professionalism.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced executive work environment.
Executive Presence and Judgement

Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of senior executive leadership, proactively resolve issues, exercise sound judgement, maintain strict confidentiality, and represent the Front Office with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and tact.

Carrier Front Office Support

The Operations Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the Carrier Front Office, specifically assisting the 2 Star Admiral and serving as a backup to the Executive Director. Key responsibilities include experience in coordinating executive schedules, resolving calendar conflicts, and optimizing time management for executive leadership. Through these tasks, the Operations Analyst ensures effective communication, timely information dissemination, and comprehensive support for leadership within the carrier program. Professionalism is essential.

Prepare, revise, and route official correspondence, coordinate travel details for Admiral in the Defense Travel System (DTS), manage meetings, coordinate and reserve conference rooms, record meeting minutes, create Executive Summary Memorandums for PEO correspondence as necessary.

Order office supplies, prepare visit requests, track yearly Fitreps for all assigned military personnel, and ensure awards and plaques are completed for individuals leaving the command.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 8-10+ years of related or applicable professional experience supporting Flag Officers/Senior Executives
  • Extensive and heavy, proactive calendar management experience.
  • Military background/retired
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to daily office needs.
  • Prior Navy Executive Officers support/Navy Staff experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • High proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, etc.)
  • Ability to interface efficiently with team members and technical leads.
Desired
  • Former Navy Flag Aide/Writer
  • Competency in US Navy correspondence and protocol
  • Knowledgeable in DTS
  • Prior NAVSEA or PEO Carriers experience
  • Former Navy Yeoman CPO/PO1 or Admin rating
  • Military/Senior Executive experience a must.
