Job summary

Netsmart seeks an Operations Analyst to connect Sales, Finance, PMO and Services, ensuring projects are planned, tracked, and delivered with accuracy. You’ll provide visibility into performance, budgets, and metrics while supporting process improvements that boost efficiency and growth.

You’ll partner with Practice Directors, Project Managers, Revenue Managers, and Sales to keep data current, monitor milestones and costs, and identify opportunities to optimize workflows in our healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Effective and efficient communication skills and be able to organize, prioritize and schedule a high workload
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences
• Experience with operational analysis including data collection, reporting, and analytics
• Experience working with project budgets, forecasting, or financial reporting
• Experience using reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM/project management platforms
• Experience supporting process improvement, workflow optimization, or operational initiatives

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the services backlog by practice and delivery group, ensuring data integrity.
• Monitor operational performance and partner with PMs and Operations leaders to identify risks and support execution.
• Support project lifecycle activities including creation, plan maintenance, milestones, and closeout.
• Analyze project, operational, and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor budgets and milestones and address schedule changes and health indicators.
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
• Collaborate with Directors, PMs, Revenue Managers, Finance, and Sales to align on scope and timelines.
• Identify data improvements and reporting enhancements for system customizations.
• Lead or participate in process design, implementation and automation initiatives.
• Communicate across teams to keep leaders informed on priorities and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the services backlog by practice and delivery group, ensuring accurate project setup, closure, status tracking, and data integrity.
• Monitor operational performance and partner with Project Managers and Operations leaders to identify risks, resolve issues, and support successful project execution.
• Support project lifecycle activities including project creation, project plan maintenance, milestone tracking, and project closeout activities.
• Analyze project, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
• Monitor budgets, milestones, schedule changes, and project health indicators while proactively addressing potential risks.
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Practice Directors, Project Managers, Revenue Managers, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on project scope, budgets, timelines, and revenue recognition activities.
• Proactively identify and implement data improvements, reporting enhancements, and system customizations that support business requirements.
• Participate in or lead operational process design, implementation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure leaders and stakeholders remain informed on key priorities and initiatives.
• Assess operational challenges and develop solutions that improve productivity, quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
