We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Analyst to join our Capital Markets Operations team, focusing on trade settlement and operational support across multiple asset classes. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate settlement of trades, managing suspense account reconciliations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable in a dynamic environment, and possesses a strong foundation in financial operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in finance, operations, or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the trade lifecycle by managing trade settlement processes across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income (Government, Municipal, International), and other securities.
- Serve as a liaison between trading desks, advisors, and core settlement teams to ensure efficient resolution of settlement issues.
- Reconcile suspense accounts and ensure financial records are balanced and accurate.
- Communicate effectively with business units, financial advisors, compliance, and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies.
- Analyze and implement operational process improvements, supporting both “Change the Bank” and “Run the Bank” initiatives.
- Work closely with Technology and other Operations teams to define requirements and deliver solutions for operational enhancements.
- Prioritize tasks in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Adapt to evolving business needs with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services, particularly within trade operations or settlement processing.
- General understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trade settlement workflows.
- Familiarity with trade settlement systems and platforms (e.g., DTCC, Fed, international market protocols)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities.
- Self-starter with a high level of accountability and ownership mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Alteryx or other data transformation tools a plus.
