Teams meet in person 2-4 times a year in interesting locations globally to align on strategy and execution.

We are hiring Sales Operations Analysts to support our sales teams in achieving their goals. The team focuses on process and data quality improvements to ensure accurate order processing. The successful candidate will proactively improve team workflows, maintain compliance, and support governance. Success is measured by increased deal velocity and high-quality CRM data to inform business decisions. We seek a proactive problem solver, team player, and someone passionate about technology and open source, capable of designing and driving programs for Canonical's continued success.

Location: These roles are remote, based in the EMEA and Americas regions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting daily sales operations globally.
2. Reviewing opportunities for accuracy and provisioning orders upon deal closure.
3. Assisting the Sales Operations Manager to enhance sales data quality and processes.
4. Reporting data quality metrics to executive stakeholders.
5. Implementing surveys and defining metrics for leadership.
6. Supporting the sales team on CRM and sales systems.
7. Delivering sales metrics, dashboards, and analytical tasks.
8. Leading automation and streamlining the Lead to Order process.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Strong academic record from high school and university.
• Experience in sales operations or order processing roles.
• Experience in a technology subscription business.
• Proven ability to improve data quality.
• Energetic, systematic, and focused on scalable outcomes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels globally.
• Effective communication across departments like Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
