Job summary

Vomela Commercial Group is seeking an Accounting Business Partner to support the High Point, NC manufacturing site. You will collaborate with corporate accounting on month-end results, manage job cost reporting, and oversee inventory and asset records to ensure accurate financials for the location.

Responsibilities include closing jobs timely, reviewing PO expenses and AP transactions, and supporting AR/AP needs with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4 year Accounting Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Task Oriented; Attention to Detail.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key accounting staff member, collaborating with corporate accounting on month-to-month results for the site.
• Manage inventory reporting for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy for month-end.
• Close jobs timely, coordinate with order entry to ensure proper revenue is recorded and invoicing completed.
• Review and approve PO expenses and AP transactions to ensure correct cost presentation.
• Close open purchase orders promptly with affiliate teams or vendors.
• Daily review of failed inventory or job-cost time entries and resolve issues at the location.
• Support corporate AR/AP needs and maintain fixed-asset listings with relevant staff.
