Job summary

The Irvine Company in Irvine, CA is seeking an IT Operations professional to manage 3rd party MSPs for operational tech across properties, travel for site/bid walks, and align IOS BoD standards with engineering teams.

You will partner with business units on tech/construction projects, own project tasks, and coordinate with IT Networking to ensure proper fiber placement and timely progress reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, create consensus, and engage cross-departmental teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in both construction and customer experience/satisfaction issues.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong Customer Service background with experience maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• 5 years experience in IT Operations.
• Efficiency with Google Mail, Drive, Docs and Sheets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3rd party Managed Services vendor for support of operational technologies (e.g., non-networked PCs supporting elevators, access control, CCTV).
• Travel to properties to perform site/bid walks with partners and vendors to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with appropriate I&MT IOS teams to include their latest standards into BoD documentation.
• Partner with business units on development and reinvestment projects to ensure alignment with technology and construction requirements.
• Identify divisional challenges arising from BoD compliance and develop remedies.
• Own and manage all assigned project tasks and ensure they are prioritized and on-time.
• Lead as single point of contact for fiber service designs to meet long-term requirements.
• Respond to fiber service submittals within contractual timelines to avoid delays.
• Coordinate with IT Networking to place lines and fiber within building MPOEs.
• Attend divisional meetings, track progress, and share new technologies.
