Job summary

Exchange Bank in Stillwater, OK is seeking an experienced Operations support specialist to handle deposit operations, ACH and Wire activities, and customer service across online banking and cash management tools.

You will back up the Deposit Operations team, enforce ACH rules, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in training to support the bank’s compliance program. Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with Jack Henry are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Jack Henry banking software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily deposit operations, ACH and Wire activities, online banking, cash management and debit card support.
• Provides backup coverage to the Deposit Operations team during absences or high workloads.
• Builds relationships and resolves client issues with ownership and follow-through.
• Ensures compliance with ACH rules and related regulations.
• Supports state and federal regulatory compliance related to deposits.
• Attends training and supports the overall compliance program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: STILLWATER MAIN STREET - Stillwater, OK 74075, Summary/Objective: This position provides a wide variety of duties in the Operations Department. Performs various daily tasks related to the day-to-day deposit operations of the bank as well as handles functions that have regulatory, monetary, and potential reputational risk impact. Functions are time sensitive and must be adhered to by means of policy and procedure.

Essential Functions

• Performs daily responsibilities for support of the deposit functions of the Bank, Automated Clearing House (ACH) and Wire Activity, customer service and online banking, cash management, and debit card support.
• Provides backup support to the Deposit Operations team on daily job duties as needed due to absences, vacations, or unexpected workload situations, and provides support to the team to troubleshoot issues or answer questions as they arise.
• Builds internal and external relationships through exceptional problem solving, ownership, and follow-through. Handles escalated client issues and disputes. Provides a high level of personalized service support to key clients and strategic relationships within the bank.
• Assists and provides guidance with all aspects of ACH. Enforces updated rules and regulations regarding ACH.
• Manages procedural updates and adherence to applicable state and federal regulatory compliance related issues.
• Attends training as required by Exchange Bank as well as support the overall compliance program by complying with all laws, policies and procedures.
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Associates degree, bachelors degree from any college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
• Experience with Jack Henry

Other Duties

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
